University of Kerala Fellowships

The university was established as University of Travancore by the Travancore University Act in 1937 and reconstituted as University of Kerala by the Kerala University Act of 1957. It is presently governed by the Kerala University Act of 1974 passed by the Kerala State Legislative Assembly.

Duration: One year, can be extended till the completion of the PURSE programme

Eligibility: 

Senior Research Fellowship - M.Sc/M.Tech  in the concerned subject or its equivalent with not less than 60% of marks. Those who are currently registered for Ph.D programme and which has relevance to the thrust areas of the PURSE programme will be preferred.

Post-Doctoral Fellowship - Ph.D in the concerned subject or its equivalent
with good academic record at Masters level. Those who have obtained Ph.D in an area which has relevance to the thrust areas of the PURSE programme will be preferred.
