APPSC Notification: 397 Assistant Statistical Officers posts in A.P. Economics and Statistical Subordinate Service

Recruitment Applications are invited On-line through the proforma Application to be made available on WEBSITE (www.apspsc.gov.in) for recruitment to the post of Assistant Statistical Officers in A.P. Economics and Statistical Subordinate Service. The desirous eligible Candidates may apply ON-LINE by satisfying themselves with the terms and conditions of this recruitment. The details are as follows: 
Assistant Statistical Officers: 397posts
Qualification: Must possess Second class Degree in B.A./B.Sc with a group comprising of any two of the following four subjects from any recognized University:
1. Economics 2.Statistics 3.Mathematics 4.Computer Science
Age: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 34 years as on 01/07/2011
Fee: (Remittance of Fee) each applicant must pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee RS. 80/- (RUPEES EIGHTY ONLY) (if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee) Payment of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants The Candidate has to logon to the WEBSITE (www.apspsc.gov.in) and enter his/her Basic Personal Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community Immediately on entering the above details the Applicant will get (downloadable)- Challan Form to pay the Fee at AP Online centers /State Bank of India. The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance. On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit WEBSITE and enter the Journal Number to get the format of Application. The applicant as to invariably fill all the columns in the Application and should submit ON-Line
Exemptions of fee: 
a) SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men.
b) Families having Household Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P.Government. (Residents of Andhra Pradesh)
c) Un employed youth in the age group of 18 to 34 years as per G.O.Ms.No. 439, G.A. (Ser.A) Dept., dated: 18/10/1996 should submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission.
d) Applicants belonging to the categories mentioned above (except Physically handicapped Persons & Ex-Service Men) hailing from other States are not entitled for exemption from payment of fee and not entitled for claiming any kind of reservation
Written Examination (Objective Type) 
PAPER-1 General Studies - 150 Marks 150 Qns. 150 Minutes
PAPER-2 Concerned Subject (one subject only) - 150 Marks 150 Qns. 150 Mts.
TOTAL - 300 Marks
The candidates have to choose one subject from the following subjects for Paper-2
01. Economics 02. Statistics 03. Mathematics 04. Computer Science
Centre for the Written Examination: The Written Examination will be held at the following Five Centre’:
1) Hyderabad 2) Visakhapatnam 3) Vijayawada 4) Tirupati 5) Warangal
