Directorate of Medical Education, Govt of Tamil Nadu conducts an entrance examination for entrance to PG courses in Govt. Medical and Dental colleges as well as self financing institutions

• MD: 3 years
• PG Diploma: 2 years
• MDS: 3 years
• M.Ch: 6 years

Eligibility:

• Candidate should have completed MBBS/BDS courses in the Tamil Nadu. Those who have completed their MBBS/BDS from other states should furnish a certificate of nativity in Tami Nadu issued by competent authority supported by passport/ratio card/ voter’s id/ driving license/ permanent medical/dental registration certificate.
• Those candidates who have completed their MBBS/BDS examinations and will be completing their CRRI period by March 31, 2012 are eligible to apply.
• Candidate should possess a MBBS/BDS degree granted by Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University or any other universities recognized by it.

• Completed application forms along with requisite enclosures and 3 self-addressed envelopes of  23*10 cms should be sent to Secretary, Selection Committee, 162, E.V.R. Periyar Salai, Kilpauk, Chennai-10 along with a Demand Draft of Rs 1250/- drawn in favour of  The Secretary, Selection Committee payable at Chennai. The name of the candidate and the course applied for should be written at the back of Demand Draft.
