Eligibility:

Integrated Ph.D Programme in Physical Sciences - B.Sc with First Class/Division with Honours/Majors in Physics with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Ph.D Programme in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences - M.Sc with First class/division in Physics, Chemistry & Bilogy and/or its interdisciplinary branches with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Selection process:

Integrated Ph.D Programme in Physical Sciences - A written test (BOSE TEST 2012- IPh.D) will be conducted by SNBNCBS on March 4, 2012 at different Centres throughout the Country and the successful candidates will be considered for interview.

Ph.D Programme in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences - A written test (BOSE TEST 2012- PM.Sc.-Ph.D) will be conducted by SNBNCBS on March 4, 2012 at different Centres throughout the Country and the successful candidates will be considered for interview.

Fellowship:

Integrated Ph.D Programme in Physical Sciences - Rs 12,000 per month during the first two years of the programme. After successful completion of M.Sc programme, the rules of the Ph.D programme will be applicable.

Ph.D Programme in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences - In line with the current rues Rs.16000 per month for the first two years as a JRF. Thereafter, upon meeting the eligibility criteria of the Centre, the students will be induced as SRF with a monthly stipend of Rs.18000/-.
