Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources:

1. Jr. Hydro geologists (Scientist B), Group "A": 33 Posts
2. Assistant Hydro geologists, Group "B": 39 Posts

Qualifications: i). Masters degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational Institutes established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or ii). Masters degree in Hydrogeology from a recognised university.

Part I: Written examination

• Subject: General English, Duration: 3 hrs. & Maximum Marks: 100
• Subject: Geology Paper I, Duration: 3 hrs. & Maximum Marks: 200
• Subject: Geology Paper II, Duration: 3 hrs. & Maximum Marks: 200
• Subject: Geology Paper III, Duration: 3 hrs. & Maximum Marks: 200
• Subject: Hydrogeology, Duration: 3 hrs. & Maximum Marks: 200

Part II: Interview for Personality Test.
