Qualifications: 
B.Sc. degree in Horticulture or M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialisation in Horticulture of a recognised university in the State or any other university / institutions recognised by the University Grants Commission and as per G.O.Ms.No.355, Food & Agri. (Agri. II) Dept., dt.7-3-1992 first preference shall be given to the candidates who possessed B.Sc. (Horticulture) and in case of non-availability of B.Sc. (Horticulture) candidates, preference will be given to those who possessed M.Sc. (Agri.) Horticulture. Further, Government have given provision in G.O.Ms.No.12, Agri. & Coop. (Horti.) Dept., dt.11-1-1996 to consider B.Sc.(Ag.) qualification in respect of SC & ST candidates when B.Sc. (Horticulture) candidates are not available among SC & ST only. For this purpose candidates with (4) years B.Sc. (Horticulture)/ B.Sc. (Agriculture) alone (only for SCs. & STs.) are considered. 

How to Apply: 
The candidates are advised to send their bio-data in the format appended along with supporting certified copies of two sets along with two recent passport size photos for Age/ Qualification along with Memo of Marks/ Community/ Nativity/ Experience etc. to the O/o Commissioner of Horticulture, Hyderabad (A.P.). the bio-data format is available at website: aphorticulture.nic.in
