UPSC Civil Service Exam 2014 Notification released

The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) released the notification for the Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2014 for recruitment of various post of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and certain other Group 'A' and Group 'B' Central Service/ Posts.

Qualifications: The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit (As on 01/08/2014): 21-32 years

Fee: Rs. 100/- either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by Cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ ate Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. Female/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
