9200 Panchayat Secretary Jobs Soon in Telangana

Telangana government has decided to recruit 9,200 panchayat secretaries soon.

It is expected that the recruitment process would be completed in around two months time, within which the release of notification and selection of candidates through a competitive examination, will be finished.

The responsibility of formulating the guidelines on the duties of secretaries has been assigned to the Hon'ble Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Jupally Krishna Rao, Chief Secretary SK Joshi, Principal Secretary of Panchayat Raj Vikas Raj and Commissioner Neetu Prasad.

The new recruits would draw a salary of Rs 15,000 per month, with a probation period of three years, after which the service would be regularised on the basis of their performance. In case of non-performance, the Telangana government holds the right to discontinue the service after the three year period.
