NEET, JEE to be held twice a year from 2019

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) will be conducted twice in a year will be held in online mode from next year (2019). The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct those entrance examinations which are currently being conducted by the CBSE like NEET and JEE. The newly formed examination conducting agency, NTA will also conduct the UGC NET and CMAT examinations. Meanwhile, JEE Advanced would continue to be conducted by IITs. The exams will be computer-based. The exams to be conducted on multiple dates. NEET & JEE exams to be conducted 2 times in a year, JEE in January & April. NEET in February and May

Examination dates for JEE and NEET:
The NEET and JEE will be held on multiple dates, said Javadekar during the press conference.

JEE Main 2019:
The JEE Main exam 2019 will be held in January and April.

NEET:
The NEET 2019 will be held twice in February and May.
